Flinders Quartet / Footscray High School Residency– Bartok + Jimi Hendrix

For a number of years now, Flinders Quartet has been working closely with students at Footscray High School (formerly Footscray City College) as part of a music residency. With the help of Melbourne composer Lee Bradshaw, the goal for 2021’s project was to educate students on the works of Bartok through the lens of Jimi Hendrix. This short film shows how it all panned out.
