Sending love to all the owls – “Book of Boobook” Album Release
Congrats to bassist, composer, and lover of owls, Paddy Fitzgerald on his debut album release ‘Book of Boobook’! I got the chance to work with him and his band on some film and photography as part of Melbourne Conservatorium of Music’s incredible Artist Portfolio Prize. [I’ll write more about the Artist Portfolio Prize in a future blog post since it was an extensive project involving collaborations with 10 musicians/groups].
In this video (which features the title track), we went for an intimate lounge room vibe with set pieces that reflected Paddy’s love of nature and penchant for the quirky.
